I recently completed a 3-day intensive with Bonita. I’ve been in weekly therapy previously, but this was different. I feel like the client workbook questions were very helpful. I was able to connect dots and fully comprehend the parts of me that were dominant and contributing to my being stuck. I was able to work through difficult traumatic experiences from an adult framework. Bonita offered many variations on standard therapy, from sandtray at the start, to expressive arts and reflective exercises. We even danced to some 90s music. I would strongly recommend an EMDR Intensive if you want to get better fast.

Bonita is amazing. I had the privilege of working with her in therapy for two years and learned so much during that time. Bonita helped me achieve the goals I had when I entered therapy. She assisted me in obtaining skills that will help me solve future problems. EMDR was so helpful in my journey. I never realized just how effective it could be until I experienced it. Definitely glad I took the steps to go through EMDR. The breathing techniques provided to help with anxiety or when panic attacks happen have also helped me.

“I started therapy with Bonita the traditional way. After two sessions she offered the Intensive Program and I jumped on it right away due to my busy lifestyle. I chose the 3-day intensive and I cannot believe the change in my thoughts and beliefs about myself. Bonita used several interventions, reflections, expressive, art, and of course EMDR, but I think the client workbook prepared me the most since I was able to connect the dots to my early childhood. Six weeks post-intensive and I still feel great! I shared with Bonita the intensive was like six months of therapy in three days. Highly recommend, and grateful my friend recommended Bonita to me.”

“Bonita was thorough in educating me on the technique, coping skills and how the brain works. She was intentional in making me part of the process with goal setting and frequent check ins on how I was feeling. She kept me on track and focused (I tend to sometimes show up to therapy for someone else who isn’t in therapy *chuckles*). Bonita met me where I was at and was also honest/gentle with me if she sensed any resistance/denial to something I needed to address but wasn’t sure I wanted to. I thoroughly enjoyed Bonita’s style.
